Thank you for an Eye for an I
I am primarily a visual person.
I assimilate a lot of information through observing.
I also express myself in visual ways.
I’m a real talker, but I really like to demonstrate my thoughts through art, photos, hand gestures, facial expressions, and tangible visuals.
Vision is something I rarely take for granted.
I would not be who I am, but for the things I have seen.
Our eyes are so precious.
Such a complex mechanism, these little round marbles in our head, right down to tears and genetic color.
My eyes are amber/green and they serve me well.
I am so thankful for the ability to see the world around me.
And even when my eyes are closed…
I am thankful to see the world within me.
I’ve always had poor vision, corrected with glasses that still don’t quite allow me to “see” the way I see. (Not sure that makes sense, but can’t think of a way to explain it.) I think it’s one of the reasons I was drawn to photography, especially in this digital age where I can take a picture and put it on the big screen and see what I couldn’t see when I took the photo. Programs such as Photoshop allow me to fix the photo (if necessary) to be what I saw with my eyes.
My eyes are brown and I am thankful for the way they allow me to see the world, within and without. 🙂
