Thank You for Not Being So Pretty

Sometimes Pretty gets in the way of seeing Beauty.

Pretty can be distracting, an illusion, a flimsy lock on the door of reality.

Pretty is like a cultural fence that makes us believe we can’t get to Beauty.

But the power of true Beauty will not succumb to the limitations of our silly notions of

Pretty.
