Thank You for “The kind you eat”

 

In a conversation with my pal, Karma I said “I can’t believe that we are still so primitive as a society that an African American making the Democratic Nomination is actually called “making history”.

“Yeah, this should have happened a long time ago, but remember Mondale and Ferraro?”

“Yeah, too far ahead of their time”

“But if Obama can actually make President, imagine the sigh of relief that will be exhaled all over this planet! It’s just got to happen”

“I can’t remember when It mattered so much or I cared so much about politics”

“Yeah, And look what just happened because we didn’t care so much or think it mattered so much”

“Yeah, Obama’s got to make it or it’s all over.”

“Wow, that sure is a lot of pressure to put on one man!”

I know, it’s like sending him up to the Titanic with only one life saver!”

Yeah, the kind you eat!”
