Thank you for Mark Paglietti

Who taught me things they never told me in Art School:

That Santa Cruz, California  was the “Paris of the nineties”

Bauhaus is good, minimal is maximum, and “art 101” is not enough

How color is amplified by Tequila

A Mac is better than a PC for creative people

A person CAN make a living at what they love, if they refuse to drive a fork lift

That I am not the only person on Earth to know the lyrics to most of Alice Cooper’s songs.

That it ain’t over til the fat lady sings and “They” can’t take away our poetry”

A Turkey Pot pie will fill up a starving artist better if they dump it onto a baked potato

Toronto breeds fine Italian people who know about wine

That real love is about authentic friendship, honest respect, and learning to laugh at one’s self during the hard times (which is easier to do when someone else goes first).

Mark Paglietti is not a tall man but he IS large in stature.

He is also a fine designer, artist, and Human Being.

I am thankful to know him.
